About the builder
I built ProActor because
I needed it.
I'm Ben Giroux — a working actor with 100+ TV credits and a two-decade career, and the creator behind @bengiroux on TikTok (4.5M followers and counting). I've spent twenty years inside this industry — as a guest-star, a series regular, a voice-over lead, a stand-up, a creator, a guy in a Build-a-Bear commercial. And for most of it, I was tracking auditions in a Notes app.
That's embarrassing for an industry this big. So I built the tool I wished existed — one calm place for every audition, callback, hold, booking, rep, and commission. This is the version of the product I wish I'd had for my 2,000th audition.
Working actor
Born in Phoenix, trained at USC, working out of Los Angeles since 2005. Theatrical, comedy, voiceover. SAG-AFTRA. Best known for a decade-long run as The Toddler across the Henry Danger universe on Nickelodeon and as the voice of Nate Wright in the Big Nate animated series on Paramount+.
Voiceover + animation
Series-lead and recurring voice work across Warner Bros. Animation, Nickelodeon, and Paramount+. Robin / Damian Wayne in Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Created Cartoon Voice Battle, a voice-actor competition format that premiered on Nickelodeon. Also a VO coach.

4.5M followers on TikTok. I post about the actor's life, self-tape tips, industry humor, and — starting this year — building ProActor in public.
Director · Producer
Music video + branded content direction (Vanilla Ice, Haynie, and others). Produced a handful of indie shorts and web series through the years.
Why I'm building this
Auditions come at you from six casting sites, your agent's inbox, your manager's inbox, and a director's random email. Callbacks, holds, release notices — scattered. You lose track. You double-book. You forget which CD you just read for. I built ProActor because the best version of me as an actor is the one who isn't doing inbox archaeology at 11pm.
